Color: Faint rose
Nose: Intense and spicy: cinnamon, green grass apple pie; with water reminiscent of a Martinique rum: vegetal, green banana, toasted oak, fresh, creamy, vanilla-like flowery
Palate: Appley and intense, fairly sweet and spicy; the grassy apple note continues
Finish: Nutty, very impressive
First Tasted: August 2007
Tasted this at an Arran tasting last year and was blown away by it, I now consider it one of my “grail” whiskies that I’d love to try again or even get a bottle of. Great review!
