Glenlivet 18 year old

I was fortunate to have spent several years in Inverness, part of heartland of the Speyside whisky producers.
If you plan to visit the area, stay in Inverness or Elgin which are close to the distilleries including The Glenlivet one.
The 18 yr is lovely amber almost deep gold in colour, with a light peaty aroma, it has a sweet taste at first giving way to a nutty flavour. An 18 yr old, is ideal on cold winter evening maybe with a guest or two with a nice cigar!
This is my second favorite scotch. So, so smooth.
One of my favorite scotch’s. A very clean, delightful taste with a nice, warm finish.
