Never Met an 18 Year Old Single Malt I Didn’t Like

 In Occasional Musings

It’s hard not to like an 18 year old single malt!  We’ve tasted about 20 so far in our journey to find the perfect single malt and I was not disappointed when I revisited the 18 year old Glen Grant.  Its malty caramel, dried raisins, and vanilla notes are hard to beat if you are looking for a malt on the lighter side.  Our list of 18 year olds includes the Allt A Bhainne, Aultmore, Glengoyne, Glenmoragie, Macallan, and Talisker just to name a few.  In my view, all are worth the extra money you pay for a single malt aged for 18 years.
