More from Ardmore

The Ardmore distillery began making single malt scotch in 1898 and this distillery has continued to produce full, rich single malt scotches that have unique highland peat-smoke tones that can only be produced from a Scottish distillery. Ardmore single malts are created in a traditional way and are double fermented in two different types of casks, which give the scotch a smoother flavor. Ardmore‚ traditional cask single malt is known for its full rich flavor, its peaty tang and a touch of vanilla that gives it a softer and smoother flavor.

The 25-year old single malt has more of a fruity flavor with its morello cherry and blackcurrant flavors. The 30-year old single malt has more of a liquorish tang with a toffee and flower smoothness. In 2008, 2009, and 2010 Ardmore single malts won double gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits. In 2008 and 2009 the Ardmore distillery won best in class, two silvers and one gold in the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
