More from Benriach

The BenRiach distillery was founded in 1898 by John Duff & Co. in Speyside, Scotland.  It was closed in 1903 and was not reopened until 1965. In 2004, the distillery was purchased by Benriach Distillery Company, making BenRiach an independently-owned distillery.

Aside from producing single malt whisky, BenRiach also began producing peated malt whisky in 1983 as a response to the increase in the price of Islay whisky. At the distillery, individuals can find an endless inventory of Speyside single malt that even dates back to 1966.

This whisky is known for its subtleness and complexity. Today, the distillery is still producing single malt whiskies. Among the most popular single malts that BenRiach produces include Wood Finish Expressions, the Classic Speyside collection, Limited Release Bottling, Super Premium, and Peated BenRiach Finishes.

BenRiach has been providing tours for individuals who are interested in exploring the distillery. Due to the exceptional quality of its whiskies, BenRiach has received multiple awards and medals.
