More from Glen Elgin

Glen Elgin distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1898, the distillery is renowned for its production of high-quality single malt whiskies, which are characterized by their smooth, mellow taste and subtle notes of fruit and honey.  Glen Elgin whisky was primarily used to make blended scotch under the White Horse brand during the 1960s.  As a result, it remains a minor cult among malt aficionados and is revered by blenders.

The distillery is currently owned by Diageo.  Two expressions can still be found: the 12 year old in the Flora and Fauna range, and a 16 year old.  Other independent bottlers hold other expressions.  The distillery is not opened to the public.
