More from Glen Scotia

Nestled on the rugged coastline of Campbeltown, Scotland, the Glen Scotia Distillery epitomizes the rich heritage and distinctive character of this historic whisky-producing region. With roots tracing back to 1832, this  distillery is known for its meticulously crafted single malt Scotch whiskies.  By 1835, it was one of almost 30 thriving distilleries in Campbeltown. This earned the region the title of ‘Whisky Capital of the World’ in the Victorian era. Today, there are only three Campbeltown whisky distilleries left.

The unique maritime influence of the Campbeltown region, combined with the pure water sourced from nearby Crosshill Loch, contributes to the distinct flavors and aromas that define Glen Scotia whiskies.  Currently, Glen Scotia produces two styles of whisky – peated and non peated. The peated whisky is typically made over a period of 6 weeks per year.

As one of the last remaining distilleries in Campbeltown, Glen Scotia holds a special place in the annals of Scotch whisky history. Its commitment to preserving the legacy of this once-thriving whisky region is evident in every carefully distilled expression.

Visitors to the Glen Scotia Distillery are treated to an authentic Scottish whisky distillery experience.  Those who visit the Campbeltown distillery can discover the selection of sweet & fruity or rich & smoky single malt whiskies and explore everything that makes them unique. Choose from the tours and tastings at the distillery or reserve space at  annual whisky festival.
